MORE ABOUT ME

My name is Fernanda, and I'm a Public Relations student at Wayne State University. I was born in Brazil and moved to the United States in 2014. Communications is the way I found to express myself and connect and creat strong relationships with people. The creativity involved in it inspires me to become a great professional . I believe that high education is the key to improve skills and develop new proficiencies. If you would like to know more about me, feel free to download my resume above, or contact me, I'll be happy to connect with you.

I have expertise in AP-style writing, editing, press releases, professional presentation, graphic design and strong work ethics. I'm fluent in Portuguese, have advanced Italian, and intermediate Spanish.

As a person who believes in higher education as a key to success, I dedicated my entire life to school and high achievements. I co-founded a club for International Students at Oakland Community College, was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, made to the Dean's List for two consecutive years and received an outstanding student award. At Wayne State I'm part of  the honors college, and was awarded a diversity scholarship for PR students. I also believe that helping others makes you a better person, for that reason I volunteered abroad to teach English to kids in a church in Italy.
